Brad Kovnat, Founder and CEO

Mr. Kovnat began working in healthcare in 2001 and NuMe Express is his third start-up venture. Prior to founding NuMe Express, Mr. Kovnat was a co-founder and VP of Business Development for Nobilis Health fka Northstar Healthcare, Inc. which ultimately listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and was the largest IPO in Canada in 2007, and now currently lists on the NYSE. He was a co-founder of Houston-based healthcare management firm, Palladium Management and served as its VP of Operations until its sale to Northstar Healthcare in 2007. His background also includes Administrator positions for three ambulatory surgical centers: Houston-based Palladium for Surgery-Houston and Kirby Surgical Center, and Dallas-based, Palladium for Surgery-Dallas. He was also a co-founder and managing partner for Houston-based River Oaks Conditioning Center physical therapy clinic and Administrator for River Oaks Pain Management clinic in Houston, TX. He received his MBA from the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University and BA degree from Hofstra University.

Clayton L. Moliver, M.D., F.A.C.S. Medical Director

Dr. Clayton Moliver started his practice in 1992. Although his early years were devoted to a mixture of reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, the last 15 years have been devoted exclusively to Houston cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Moliver received his medical school degree at Texas Tech University School of Medicine, Lubbock, Texas. He completed his six years of general surgery residency at Texas Tech Regional Academic Health Science Center, El Paso, Texas, from 1984-1990, serving as Chief Resident, 1989-90. He completed his plastic surgery residency at St. Joseph Hospital, Houston, Texas, from 1990-1992. During that time, he trained with world-renowned plastic surgeons, including the inventor of the breast implant, Dr. Thomas Cronin, and the past Editor-in-Chief of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (the official journal of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), Dr. Thomas M. Biggs. Dr Moliver also found time to be a Major in the U.S. Army Reserves Medical Corps from which he retired a few years ago. In March, 2011, Dr. Moliver accepted a position at The University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas as Clinical Professor, Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery.

Nancy Finch, Chief Compliance Officer

Nancy Finch, APRN, CNS-BC, CASC, CPHQ is an advanced practice nurse with more than 15 years of experience in healthcare and more than 25 years in management and leadership. Ms. Finch graduated from Austin College in Sherman, Texas and University of Texas at Austin. With a varied background in nursing ranging from floor nursing to Chief Nursing Officer, she currently serves as president of her own consulting company, Diverse Health Consulting LLC. Her firm provides clinical coordination, clinical education, compliance oversight, accreditation support, facility-specific staff education, and broad-based quality improvements in all healthcare settings large and small. She brings hands-on experience and solid critical thinking skills backed by a strong work ethic and measurable performance improvements in her facilities.

Krystal Roney-Smith, Clinical Administrator / Nurse Practitioner

Krystal Roney-Smith, M.S.N., RN, FNP-C, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas School of Nursing at Tyler in 2004, and received a Master of Science in Nursing, graduating as a Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society member from Prairie View A&M University School of Nursing in Houston in 2015.

Krystal said she was drawn to healthcare since childhood and became a nurse because she loved taking care of people. After 11 years of being a nurse in women’s services, Krystal decided she wanted to have a closer interaction with the community and in 2015 she earned Master of Science in Nursing to become a nurse practitioner with the Memorial Hermann Health System. It was after one year of working as a Family Nurse Practitioner she knew that she wanted to work solely in a more uplifting environment with cosmetics. Once the opportunity presented itself, Krystal decided to join NuMe Express fulfilling her dream job as a Nurse Practitioner Injector.

Krystal enjoys working in the cosmetic industry and is a perfectionist when it comes to her clients getting the best results. She considers her skills a form of artistry to enhance natural beauty. Krystal states that the biggest advantage of her role as a nurse injector is the instant gratification, and she takes pride in the boost of confidence that her clients receives after each treatment.
